Windsor Chair, 2021

My initial approach to the design started from looking at traditional windsor chairs and how individual parts of those windsor chairs were often made and assembled from different studios and craftsmen. Diving into this project alone, I wanted to make a chair that was more attentive to the relational aspects of all parts of a windsor chair. The end result was a windsor chair with accented details, which were apparent throughout the form.
